Privacy notice

Last updated November 4, 2026. This notice covers this website: the quiz and the waitlist.

The short version

• Your quiz answers never leave your browser. We never see them.
• If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
• We use your email only for launch news and beta invites. We never sell or share it.
• There are no ads, cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels or third-party scripts on this site.
• You can unsubscribe or have your details deleted at any time.

Who we are

Ayurveda Balance is a small founding team in North Carolina building a free, educational Ayurveda app. We are forming a North Carolina limited liability company and will name it here once it exists. You can reach us at ayurvedahelp1@gmail.com.

The quiz

The quiz runs entirely in your web browser. Your answers are kept in this browser tab only, so you can pick up where you left off, and they are erased when you close the tab or choose "Clear my answers". They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

When you finish the quiz, your browser sends us a single message that says "a quiz was completed". It contains nothing about you or your answers. We add it to a daily total. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it doesn't send this message at all.

If you choose to rate your result, we receive the number you pick, from 1 to 5, and add it to a daily total. Nothing else is sent with it.

The result image and the "compare with a friend" link are made in your browser. A compare link holds only your three percentages and, if you type one, a first name. That information sits in the part of the link after the "#" sign, which browsers do not send to websites. Anyone you send the link to can see it.

The waitlist

• What we collect: your email address, your first name if you give it, and the date you joined.
• Why: to email you launch news and invitations to try the beta. Nothing else.
• Where it's kept: in a database in our own Cloudflare account, which only the founding team can open.
• Who we share it with: no one. We never sell, rent or share your details.
• Emails we send: every one has an unsubscribe link and our postal address. We turn off "open" and "click" tracking in any email tool we use.
• How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist closes, whichever comes first.

What our hosting provider sees

This site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages and block abuse. We don't store IP addresses or browser details in our databases. To limit spam, our sign-up form briefly checks how often a connection has used it; that check happens in memory and nothing is saved. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

We don't set cookies. There are no analytics tools, advertising tags, pixels, session recorders, chat widgets, social media embeds or fonts loaded from other companies. Everything on this site is served from our own domain.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete your waitlist details by writing to ayurvedahelp1@gmail.com. We act on requests within 10 business days.
• Clear your quiz answers at any time from the results page, or by closing the tab.

Adults only

This site and the app are for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has joined the waitlist, write to us and we'll delete it.

Washington and other state residents

This website does not collect consumer health data: quiz answers stay in your browser, and the waitlist asks only for contact details. Before the app's beta opens, we will publish a full privacy policy and a separate Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, linked from this page.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we'll tell you by email first.

The quiz gives a traditional Ayurvedic profile for learning and self-reflection. It is not a medical or scientific diagnosis. Talk to your doctor or another qualified health professional about any health concern. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (U.S.).
